At CrossFit Oak Creek we thrive to create a fit and healthy community through fitness training and nutrition. Our staff of professional coaches will help YOU pursue elite fitness and develop YOUR maximal potential.

STEP 1 - EXPERIENCE A CROSSFIT WORKOUT!

WANT TO TRY OUT CLASS?
If you are new to CrossFit or want to check us out you are welcome to come in and watch or try one of our training sessions. If you would like to give it a try, click HERE to set up your FREE trial session. During your complimentary intro session you’ll get a chance to learn a lot more about our program and experience the beauty of a CrossFit workout.

STEP 2 - LEARN THE BASICS AND SIGN UP FOR OUR ELEMENTS CLASS.

READY TO GET STARTED?
To help you get started in your CrossFit journey you are required to take our Elements Class. This class is required for all new clients who are not experienced with CrossFit training and methodology before they can enroll in any of our programs/memberships. If you have already been Crossfitting, you can test into classes. Just call or email us to set up your test-in appointment.
The Elements Course is designed to bring you up to speed on the foundations of CrossFit; the form and technique of our movements in a group format, philosophy behind the CrossFit Program, and Nutrition Strategies we use to get incredible results. Your coach will create a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes and assess your movements to create a personalized mobility program to improve your flexibility, performance, and safety.
  • Elements meets 2 days a week for 4 weeks. You must attend all sessions of instruction or you can make up a missed class(es) with a private session at an additional cost.


For CrossFit veterans…

Are you an existing CrossFitter moving to the neighborhood? Can you comfortably perform the foundational movements of CrossFit? You may be able to test out of our ELEMENTS.
The Elements Test-Out is a 30-minute appointment with a coach. It incurs a small one-time fee of $10 which can be added to your membership.
To pass the test out, you must demonstrate competency in the following movements:
  • Air Squat
  • Front Squat
  • Overhead Squat
  • Deadlift
  • Sumo Deadlift High Pull
  • Medicine Ball Clean
  • Press
  • Push Press
  • Push Jerk
  • Barbell Clean
You must then complete the following workout in under 6 minutes:
  • 500m Row
  • 40 Air Squats
  • 30 Sit-Ups
  • 20 Push-Ups (may be scaled to knee)
  • 10 Pull-Ups (may be scaled to jumping)
We require that all athletes either complete ELEMENTS, or test out of it prior to regularly attending our Group CrossFit classes. We make no exceptions — people who have competed in the CrossFit Games have tested out before beginning their training here! If you’re an experienced CrossFitter it should be easy for you to knock out the test.
Existing CrossFitters with at least 3 months of experience are welcome to stop by, meet us, and try out a class prior to testing out of Elements.
If you have no experience with CrossFit, you should complete Elements regardless of prior alternative athletic experience.
